My normal ootd for a Sunday afternoon would be something
lazy and comfy (cough cough pajamas) but since this is my first official day in
LA I figured I’d take advantage of the gorgeous weather and equally gorgeous
rooftop pool, yes you read that right I HAVE A ROOFTOP POOL *dying*. So
although this outfit is ridiculously comfortable, perfect for grocery shopping
and writing which is how I spent my afternoon, it’s really chic as well!

I paired some really flowy shorts (which are my current
obsession by the way) with a super soft white bat sleeve top. For accessories I
went with a gold stacked tribal necklace, a gorgeous turquoise beaded bracelet
for a slight pop of color, and some large black sunglasses. And of course the
star of the show, these amazing cutout boots! I am a HUGE fan of boots in the
summer, especially paired with shorts and although these ones are leather they
aren’t too hot to wear in eighty degree LA weather because of the exposed ankle.
I love these ones as well because they’re black (which I have way too many
things that are black but I couldn’t resist) and they’re great for both summer
and fall. If you live somewhere hot I would skip the boots and add some really
cute sandals and this outfit is perfect for any weekend get together, party,
barbeque, or grocery shopping, whichever you choose to do!
