Tori Talks // Be Brave.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the word bravery lately.
How does one prove they’re brave?
What does bravery mean to different people?
I believe in ordinary acts of bravery. I know, cliché. But think about it.
Bravery is no longer reserved for spies and superheroes. Bravery is willing yourself to get out of bed in the morning and face the day. Bravery is moving four thousand miles away from your family. Bravery is picking yourself back up when the cute boy with the big smile and even bigger ego breaks your heart.
Ordinary acts.
The simple ones that constantly go unnoticed.
So be fearless. Be courageous. Be brave.
Fall in love with a boy or a city or even better, yourself.
Listen to the band you love but you’re friends hate.
Wear whatever clothes you want.
Be the “nerd” that loves school.
Be yourself, your whole self.
I dare you.

xx,

T
